The Burney Fire District was formed in 1939 to protect the citizens and visitors of Burney. The District is designed to be an “all risk” provider of emergency and non-emergency services. The District covers 35 sq. miles. The District’s Strategic Plan explains more about the District and its mission.

Burney Fire Protection District
TOURS AND PRESENTATIONS

Requests for public education presentations, event appearances, and fire station tours can be made through the Fire Department Headquarters at 530-335-2212. Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the event.
 
Requests will be honored subject to personnel availability and emergency call status.
