BURN BAN SEASON Effective July first until further notice, residential burning is prohibited in all areas of Shasta County due to extreme fire danger. Burning is only allowed by agricultural operations that have the proper permit. Burn hours are specified on the permit. This determination was made by the California Department of Forestry. If you have any questions, call 225-2418. Please notify the Shasta County Air Quality Management District on the day of the agricultural burn the number of acres or tons burned by calling 225-5674 or 800-528-2850.
